The activity is determined by its ability to inhibit IL-2 production from activated mouse spleenocytes and is typically 60-90ng/mL.
Lyophilized from 10mM Na2PO4 + 50mM NaCl, pH 7.5.
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Greater than 95.0% as determined by
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
(c) UV spectroscopy at 280 nm.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin-27 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Lyophilized Interleukin-27 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18oC. Upon reconstitution IL27 should be stored at 4oC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18oC.
Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
