Lyophilized from 1mg/ml solution in 20 mM PBS buffer pH 7.4.

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Greater than 97.0% as determined by Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

The protein was electrophoresed under reducing condition on a 15% SDS-polyacrylamide gel, transferred by electro blotting to a NC membrane and visualized by immune-detection with specific IL12 antibody.

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-12 p40 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H₂O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Lyophilized IL-12 p40 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18^oC. Upon reconstitution IL-12 p40 should be stored at 4^oC between
2-7 days and for future use below -18^oC. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
