EBV-VCA IgM ELISA
The EBV-VCA IgM ELISA tests system is an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of IgM class antibodies to EBV in human serum or plasma.
ELISA kits come in different assay types like indirect, sandwitch or competitive ELISA to quantitatively or qualitatively measure an analyte's amount, presence or absence. Linear range of detection determines the amount of "target" can be detected accurately, while sensitivity determines the lower range or smallest changes of "target" can be detected.
