The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ser-Lys-Cys-Lys-Cys.
The ED50 of CXCL14 as determined by its ability to induce calcium flux of prostaglandin E2 treated THP1 human acute monocytic leukemia cells was 1.0-10.0 ng/ml.
CXCL14 was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against 20mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.5 and 1M NaCl.
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Greater than 95.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CXCL14 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Lyophilized CXCL14 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18oC. Upon reconstitution CXCL14 should be stored at 4oC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18oC.
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
