V-Myc Myelocytomatosis Viral Oncogene Human Recombinant
Myc Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 439 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 48.8kDa.
The Myc is fused to a C-terminal poly-arginine tag and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Accession
Amino acid sequence
The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Pro-Leu-Asn-Val.
Formulation
Myc was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against PBS.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity
Greater than 95.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by SEC-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Myc in sterile PBS not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
