MIP 3a Human

Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha Human Recombinant (CCL20)

MIP-3 Alpha Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 70 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8 kDa.
The MIP-3a is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Accession

P78556

Amino acid sequence

ASNFDCCLGY TDRILHPKFI VGFTRQLANE GCDINAIIFH TKKKLSVCAN PKQTWVKYIV RLLSKKVKNM.

Biological Activity

Human MIP-3-Alpha is a chemoattractant to human T cells working in a concentration range of 7-70ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 14,286-142,860IU/mg

Formulation

Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in water containing no additives.

Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity

Greater than 97.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized MIP-3 Alpha in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Source

Escherichia Coli.

Stability

Lyophilized MIP-3a although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18oC. Upon reconstitution CCL20 should be stored at 4oC between 2-7 days and for future use below
-18oC.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
