MIG Human

MIG Human Recombinant (CXCL9)

MIG (monokine induced by gamma-interferon ) Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 103 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 11700 Dalton. The MIG is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Accession

Biological Activity

Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood T-Lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 10,000-100,000IU/mg.

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.2um filtered concentrated (1.0mg/ml) solution in 20mM PB, pH 7.4, 50mM NaCl.

Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Purity

Greater than 97.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized MIG in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Source

Escherichia Coli.

Stability

Lyophilized MIG although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18oC. Upon reconstitution CXCL9 should be stored at 4oC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18oC. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
