ELISA Kit for Insulin (INS)

The kit is a competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique for the in vitro quantitative measurement of insulin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Due to the 96% homology of the sequence among different species, the kit can be used to detect human, mouse, rat and canine samples.

ELISA kits come in different assay types like indirect, sandwitch or competitive ELISA to quantitatively or qualitatively measure an analyte's amount, presence or absence. Linear range of detection determines the amount of "target" can be detected accurately, while sensitivity determines the lower range or smallest changes of "target" can be detected.
