The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Met-Lys-Asn-Leu-Asn.
As measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA, immobilized IL1F7 at 1 ug/ml (100 ul/well) can bind rhIL-18 R/Fc Chimera with a linear range of 0.015-1ug/ml.
IL1F7 was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against 20mM Phosphate buffer, pH7.4.
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Greater than 95.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
It is recommended to quick spin followed by reconstitution of IL1F7 in PBS to a concentration no less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Lyophilized IL1F7 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18oC. Upon reconstitution IL1F7 should be stored at 4oC between 2-7 days and for future use below -18oC.
Please avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
